Glad you're finally appreciating some clan Viva music. This is a composition by former Viva rhythm guitarist Costa Pinto and he had Echappé on lead vocals,am sure you know Echappé who is now with Ferre.

Besides this song and Mi Amour with Koffi the only Papa Wemba/Viva songs I like is the generique Nkunzi Lele (I didn't know Mamale was with Wemba) and the last generique he released. (I liked it as the year went by) and the rhumbas Kaporal, Mwasi, Six Million, Eric Tela.

All these songs you have mentioned are recent so it means you hardly know Viva La Musica and that explains why you disrespected him and his band in most posts here in the past. Am sure now you have seen on tv and internet how much respect Papa Wemba commanded worldwide.

I concur, the 4th and 5th generation artists are who they are today thanks in large part to Papa Wemba. He was their source of inspiration, guidance, and reference.
He was one of the first African, rather World artists to emphasize upmost acoustic quality in his albums. Real instruments, powerful vocals and supporting vocalists, minimal synthesizers, and meaningful lyrics. This is what got him acclaim, commanding the attention and respect of the world audience.
