It's unfortunate Danger de Mort was overshadowed by Fally's departure and the collapse of QL because it's a very solid group album.
It had an absolute all-star cast - Felly, Fofo, Bouro, Fally, Ferre, Mirage, Modogo, Mboshi, Wanga, Montana, Brigade, Mbetenge, Asso, Junior, Gypson, Sheila, Apocalypse, the three best drummers Koffi's had (Titina, Champion, & Tshe-Tshe), Bourman, Passe Kosse, & Binda Bass. Studio work and acoustic quality, however, was not as good as Monde Arabe and not even close to Affaire d'état.
The Koffi and QL concerts of 05-06 were quite something.

I thought this album was garbage I hated it, it didn't have enough sebene, and it should have had more then 12 songs I didn't understand that part but I agree it did have an all star cast an incredible team which koffi should have taken more advantage of and in my opinion of all the group albums in QL this is at the bottom of the list and is the worst

my comment might shock a couple of guys but ferre's arrival in the group destroyed everything,the guys were ok with a guy like fally getting clearly more advantage and bringing in a second guy who would be treated differently when the group had already managed to avoid big ego problems and build a strong chemistry was risky,especially given the relationship between fally and ferre
that generation could have lasted longer with fally or with ferre when fally moved but not with both
and those two guys almost ruined career of all the other guys of that "galacticos" team as the meltdown was too big that it forced all of them into leadership role which they surely did not have in them

Archos what you say make sense but you need to consider some group have a time limit and sure ferre arrival accelerate thing but i think grown men after a certain time need to go solo even if is does not work for them.
The best make it and the other dont.

That's the thing koffi after that try again with younger dude but slowly give up and prefer promote a female singer who he can control :P and still have sucess .
That's why in a sense Werra is better that koffi or Jb even if the system of replace singer who left by other have a limit if the new guy or less and less talented.

for me Magie on no. 1. Because of the will to challenge and break Wenge 4x4 with hot solo's from Leboua Kabuya, hot bass from Rocky Blanchard & Augusto Nsingi, hot Animation from Beevans, the strong chorus with Babia & Eric Tutsi dominating and nice songs like Julia, Shambuyi, Petit Na Londres, Mansouri S. Magie, Sylvekou and Meslian.

Koffi created a problem for himself and am sure he regrets it no wonder he initially took legal action against Ferre when Ferre left shortly after Fally did. Koffi knew it was the beginning of the end and i think it's the reason why he now does not do any of the male singers favours,it's just Cindy because she gives him other things males singers can't give him so he can't lose both ways. ;D

This was a good album and it was for the better of Fally and Ferre that they leave.

Danger de Mort happens to be one of my favorite Quartier Latin albums aside from Pas De Faux Pas. When I went to Kin nearly 6 years ago, Ferre dropped Qui est derrière toi and Fally released, Arsenal De Belles Melodies and were getting heavy promotion on TV and radio. But Danger De Mort was already 4 or 5 years old and they were still playing Pharmacien in the clubs hard. Koffi had a star lineup and then blew it. Maybe he wanted to promote Les Mineurs over the older guys because of the reception they were getting but as you can see, it got him no where. We're stuck with Cindy.
