Title: BEST SONG FROM 13ÈME APÔTRE?

I gave the album a listen back in October and got to the end of CD 2 before deciding the album wasn't to my taste. Like  "Abracadabra" (an album I still haven't listened to in it's entirety), the second half of most of the rhumbas are so similar in structure it gets boring.

After many months, I gave the album another try and the song "13ème apôtre" stuck out and I think it's the best song from the album. The Koffi/Cindy combo works quite well here:

Any best song suggestions from members who have listened to the album in it's entirety? Patronne and Symposium are also well done.

Thanks, I’m beginning to like certain rhumbas after give it a through listen. Freddy Taggart is decent as well. Curious occurrence that in the featurings Cindy vocal presence is strong.

I’m no music production professional, but on certain songs there’s a bit too much vocal editing, which makes Koffi’s vocals and Cindy’s chorus sound a bit too artificially enhanced. There’s also disconnect between the vocals of some songs done in one studio and the instrumentals arranged in another.

Mère Anissa and Monde ya Love are some notable exceptions. - top notch studio work.
