Papa Wemba who was nearly 20 years old than Mignon's boss JB Mpiana also had a proper website!! I wish I could work for BCBG even for a week,i could help JB Mpiana change a lot of things if he really means business. Roger Ngandu is a waste of time as ceremonial Director of Marketing.

As talented as JB is it is just too appalling that he has not moved with the times. This is not about competition but keeping up with the times. A lot has changed in the last 2 decades- internet has taken over the whole world. Fally really made use of this innovations well....same for Mopao and some other younger artistes . Another person I have got some fear for is Ferre. The people you hang out with really matter, it is either they are retrogressive or progressive.

Sly bcbg was probably the first congolese group to have a website back in early 2000 until 2006 or so, then webmaster alain bany had a fallout with bcbg's admins and jb and eversince that bcbg has no site
i saw that werra also did a new site,but my question is, is not it actually that the sites which are "past it" except for biographies and some "exclusive content" at expense of twitter facebook instagram?
indeed like you say the director of marketing role given to roger only helps him with girls and that's it,but no proper job
congrats to abraham who seems to be taking very very seriously that album opportunity, he really wants to make an impact

Abraham mignon is a fally of bcbg. He is progressive and wants to be born out of that shell. I was actually expecting a thread: Abraham has formed his own band.

I remember back in the days of temoignage Wenge MMM had a site with bios of every artist. Then they closed it. Unfortunately 30% of Congolese people have access to internet, and Congolese theirselves haven't a lot of interest in Internet. Congolese leaders have an average of 35/40 years and they don't understand internet like young ones. This is why the important Congolese musicians don't pay much attention to it, missing a lot of money and potential fans

Indeed i very well remember the BCBG site which also had a discussion forum. Internet wasn't big that time but today it's big so any organisation really needs its own website to not only post information but interact with its clients and sell or offer stuff.
