The Agricultural and commercial society of Zambia has replaced Koffi Olomide with Werasson for the concert at the Lusaka Agriculture show.
This follows the cancellation of Olomide’s show following his reported beating of one of dancers at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia Ben Shoko said Werrason will perform on Friday July 29 2016 at Mulungushi International Conference Centre.
“The Society would also want to inform the people that the tickets already purchased are valid. We further encourage people to buy tickets in advance to avoid delayed entry on the day of the show,” he said

Quite frankly, the noble thing for the Agricultural and commercial society (a government institution) to do is to have a popular Zambian artist(s) have a leading performance.

They want to make money. We don't have very good local artists who can pull crowds in Zambia.

Werrason is very popular in Zambia. Actually Zambians hate Koffi because of his scandals.

Werrason is very popular in Zambia. As for Fally, it is mostly ladies who like him here. Ferre hasn't made his mark yet. He didn't impress the few times he came here because he focused on rhumbas and people don't understand Lingala. The initial plan was actually to bring Werra but its like Koffi did his tricks with sponsors. Even before the Kenyan Scandal we were so surprised to Lean Koffi is coming. His last two outings were a disaster ....poor performance with scandals. He slapped his dancer and kicked a journalist. The other time his concerts were cancelled in the last minute after escaping Interpol through Lubumbashi.

Bad musician? are you looking for the most beautiful musician among pageantry contestants? LOL
The Zambians , Kenyans as well as the rest of Africa know what they want, they are least concern with current polemic business of Fally and Ferre and fashioned business of slow rhumba.
After all most of them they dont understand Lingala; the vigor , deep and down to earth music feelings made from well arranged voices, instruments, generique, hot sebene is what made Lingala music to be popular and famous across the continent and world at large. Yes rhumba has its place, but was not used to be the main course of Lingala music.
And it is thus why the likes of Werrason will continue to entertain Africa notwithstanding with crap insinuation from certain bases.

The artist who to me would have come this time and only if his house was in order, is Jb mpiana. Jb mpiana up to this day, with his mediocre kibense company, still attracts crowds here.
