Because it takes more than just a great voice to have a successful solo career, unfortunately. Singers like Amelia, Jtrois, Soleil Wanga, are all great singers, but I doubt that they will ever break it big in music. Management good musicians and very catchy (Ya mado) songs are usually missing. Jpson Cardinal's generique in Diagnostic was not well arranged and the atalakus didn't have great animations to keep you listening to the song, the solo licks were weak, yet the guy is a good singer.

Jypson used mpunda I believe, i liked that album a bit but he needed to organize it better.

baby was about to decent things aftet the chante pepe ndombe concert but he suffered a big blow which affected him one hell lot,it was the death of his daughter maelys by drowning in france,while swimming with friends in a sea it was even an event reported on media here because many of them kids died so it was even harder to handle

Man I am so sorry for the fact of his daughter it always brake your heart seeing little girls and little boys dying against time. I really hope he get well soon and be able to find better musician for a great album and have the success he needs.

I was just going through some old posts,and i saw this one and said to myself even though he has not had the solo career we could expect from him he "gave" us some nice musicians,djenny atula who is now in maison mere started career in his band,kirikou,tolbert solo,mabuma bass,the maison mere second mbonda player,ruth nzele before her spell with jitrois then with ferre, a good part of the deplick band (who left deplick now by the way)...

When did Deplick musicians ditch him? And who is he going with to Angola should be this weekend?

few weeks ago about half of his band or little more moved they complained that he started to become rude with them and send them to attack robinio which most did not agree to because they know how him and deplick were friends and robinio helped him find where he rehearses i guess he'd be going with 15 guys max anyways

True with fabregas it was just luck plus he has good looks and came with a fire generique then boom

Good he deserves it... the guy disappears for a while than comes back instead of focusing and promoting himself, his band and his music he decides to release a generique (which is really good) attacking Robinho and doing interviews attacking him over the colour of his skin and his background silly boy

Not fair at all. Luck does not sustain you for this long. Fabregas is massively talented and a very hard working chap and totally deserves to be where he is.
Robinio's Tcha nanu boye was a big hit as well as Yeyo but he doesn't seem to get much traction from that. Suzuki's decompte finale was a great album but there was never substantial follow up. Can these guys claim not to be lucky? I don't think so

I'm talking about mascara he came with that and the promotion was insane than ever since then things have been going well for him
