Title: FUSEE VS GENTA
Post by: Manzambi94 on August 22, 2016, 11:30
JB had a huge luck in the atalaku section, on the begining of BCBG he had the chance to work with a guy like Caludji and then Genta, with the time he have seen really talented guys like Cellulaire (RIP), Matelo Pajo and Ben Laden, until God blessed him again with a charismatic and powerful atalaku called Fusèe de Guerre, even though the guys after Genta were good for a reason or another they were never able to take the second spot for a long time, and this really advantaged Fusèe that now is on his way to become on of the best atalaku ever.
To you basing on this two videos who is better now Fusèe or Genta?
To Fusèe Mpunda was the best crie of Genta and Wenge BCBG in general and he said that his plans were to make a better generique than Mpunda, and after Kiyunguzuna where he sung a little bit he gave us Bebé, Bilonda and Tetuka on Je Ne Te Calcule Pas, to you Fusèe really overtake Genta or Genta is still the number one atalaku on BCBG?
For what I have seen in Balle De Match Fusèe won but thinking about the past and thinking about songs like Mpunda, Biloko, Pelisa Ngwasuma, Kiyunguzuna and so on Genta won big time.

in the longterm fusee will become number 1 but genta  still remains the main man,a part from his questionable choice of nuances at times he is still the one who comes in the group with the highest number of animation
number 2 is already a massive achievement for fusee given how far down the pecking order he started and how untouchable late cellulaire was when he was an active member of the group
he is still bloody young  and will only grow further with the right guidance of genta
if you notice well bcbg's atalaku section has always mixed experience with youth and i do not see it changeing especially given how jb loves loyal employees

I think the number two spot is still on rotation basis between Pajo,Fusee and Chaleur.
For me BCBG missed a great atalaku in Bebe Cayene who had more airtime in"kiyunguzuna" than Fusee.(what happened to him and where is he nowadays) The other miss was in Kilimadjaro.

Did someone write here that Pajo used to give Caludji his cris?

Yes caludji himself confirmed in in interview over cellulaire's death actually after zenith caludji went to see jb  to become a singer which jb rejected until anti terro, and between zenith and anti terro most of caludji's animation came from mosaka and later the likes of pajo
as for cayenne the last i heard about it was that he kinda lost his head a bit  because of trying to attack genta through witchcraft and it backfired

Genta is finished beyond repair as evidenced by his almost cutting voice in soyons seriuex mpunda. Genta was good in collaboration only, not a one man show. Only bill, ekokota, caludji and djouna are good at that.

So as of today, fusee is better.

No Emo Genta is not finished, have you heard his new crie? "Ba 'o kata nga ba 'o kata nga suki, ba 'o kata nga suki" it is fire, the only reason because he can't run an entire concert of his own because after fifteen years of running solo shows, it is hard to do it at the same level, but yeah is voice that he does all the time keep ruining a really good voice, like in Pelisa Ngwasuma he had an awesome natural voice, and I hope of not but to me that voice is gone

Yes I did it, because, it was well known by Wenge BCBG fans and Caludji as Archos said confirm it.

Manzambi, if u think genta is not finished, then I don't know the world you living in.

Making a comparison with soccer, Del Piero on his last years played in Australia, Trezeguet went back to Argentina and Henry went to America, of course with the time you can't be the best as you were but Genta is not finished he is able to still make cries that can make people dance and enjoy the only problem is his voice

exactly apart from his suspect choice of voice at times there is zero atalaku who comes every year with more animation than him in any group of drc,but voice plus being one of the longest serving bcbg members given the reputation they have overall goes against him

You are agreeing with me and refusing at the same time. I said, due to his finished voice, he is done. Creating rap lines and delivering through a melodic voice are two different things and one can influence the other.

Fusee is the future but Genta for me is still consistent with animation and his voice doesn't bother me.

In BCBG all new atalakus start on a high then fade. Only Genta trajectory has been different. He is very creative and can hold his own. Fusee is creative but this is break-out phase and we will has to wait and see if he has the staying power. If you check when Cellulaire broke in he was creating then started fading.  I noticed that in BCBG when atalakus break-out they are heavily featured.  However I have hope in him, wherever he is getting his juice let him keep it up.
The other issue is creating your niche in the system. I consider that number two atalaku spot in BCBG is vacant. Fusee is primed for number one spot. The second atalaku spot is the one who backs/answers number one calls.
In Comparing Genta and Fusee I call Genta tops. Genta held his own during the intense competition era/polemiques (2000-2005). He is proven. Fusee is starting out and his future is bright. He is Genta student but quite a prospect.

Not a Genta student, but a Caludji student he said it to me once I talked to him to Whatsapp he said that the guy he was listening too much is Tutu Caludji and this is why he came with much powerful cries anyway, yes Fusèe for the impact he has is fastly going into the number one spot for the second place, I think that Pajo and Ben Laden should make more cries togheter like Roi David and Kene Kene did in Wenge and like Eclipse and Gessac did in 'S Grave and so on beacuse listen to Pajo here at 1:51 until 2:38
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnB6QcgT4Io
This crie alone and the Fusèe one could be the generique of the year after Je Ne Te Calcule Pas, I think that Pajo really wonderstood he have got talent and he stopped giving his best cries to others and started to keep the best for him, for Ben Laden he has been always excellent in his cries since he came
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rouhOx8JiHs
 (Quel Est Ton Probleme) 9:28
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A6ezrrbs1Y (Biloko)
From the beggining until 1:45 and furthermore check Genta since 1:45 you see why we say he still got it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQf7defZ6Lw (Balle De Match)
From 3:10 until 3:45 and then 8:03 until the end with Genta slippin on the middle
The problem with Ben Laden he has very limited space I wish he had 3 or 4 cries in the same song like Fusèe had and it would be really a killer generique

yes indeed in terms of voice fusee looked up to caludji like all tenorist atalakus, but he is being trained by genta who wants him to become really strong as he says he needs a strong number 2 for the good of the group and also it will motivate him to keep working hard(which is why he had fallen out with cellulaire in the last months)
ben laden's problem is that his animation are quite often too explicit so jb has to cut in studio to avoid censorship, for example in the recent fikin and co concerts he is doing an animation saying in clear words" if you dont want to have sex with me,ill go see prostitutes in pakadjuma, its only 300 congolese francs there"

Ben Laden should really stop that shit, Caludji himself said it "I could make a lot of sexual cries and make success with them but that's not how I wanted to be recognize in time, this is why I always tried to battle myself and be able to come with a crie with a lot of message behind it" Ben Laden should hear this word and make it his anthem, he is too much of a talent to waste in silly shit like that, everytime he makes something proper it is a success, and I think that if he wasn't so sexually explicit he would have the same space of Fusèe and Genta in Wenge.

I really liked that Tshibolela Generique! Better than any generics that came out that year( Satellite) but JB disapointed me by not properly promoting it...For me, best Primus  Generiques since Bokeseni Ezali

Satellite was just promotion, it had over a milion views just because Seka Moke on youtube was a really good promoter of Congolese music, but except Diego and Liboka, that generique was really shitty. Brandon could have been good but he was imitating Brigade too much.
About Tshibolela I totally agree except the fact that Bokeseni Ezali was the best Primus generique before of Tshibolela. I think that Diata Bawu, Pelisa Ngwasuma, Biloko, was better generique than Bokeseni Ezali to Kipala Nzonzaku was a better generique than bokeseni ezali. And yes, JB Mpiana style of promoting is a little bit odd. In fact for his latest generique je ne te calcule pas on the first 4 month was only 188k views even though that generique was fire.
