Regarding him returning to France; if protests get worse and lootings begin like '91-93 or '97, he may have to seek refuge there or elsewhere because the big artists will be easy targets for lootings since they've sworn complete allegiance to Kabila.

If it was Tiken Jah Fakoly Koffi wouldn't have said a thing since he's also Ivorian rastaman who has been heavily involved politically.
Had the combatant picked Youssou N'dour his response would've been completely opposite; along the lines of "he's my brother and he has resources I don't have". Although in reality, Youssou accomplished quite a bit politically and socially without needing college education - just a positive image and message.

to complete what matebu said koffi also hinted to that guy that is a coward for staying in europe and wanting him koffi to motivate people in kin to protest and risk being killed, and koffi said many of them guys live in poor conditions in europe and its well known that he lives much much better in kin that them in france and that in french prisons there are more congolese people that people from other nationalities because congolese people of europe have a bad behaviour and mentality which puts congo's name to shame
the guy who got him pissed like that said koffi did well to do a little message to wish that protests are peaceful and without blood but as a leader he should motivate people to risk their lives because no revolution was done without deaths and koffi replied if he wants people to die for congo he should be the first to come back and go to challenge authorities and set example

LOL koffi's fans are too "smart" they always know how to turn it around when their idol is into controversy, they have turned the thing into a comparison of koffi and alpha blondy career to make people forget about the rest of what koffi said except the already famous" moi je pete les plombs comme ca quoi"

Koffi makes a valid point by asking the combatants to take aeroplane to Kinshasa and rebel themselves against Kabila. How can you expect others to rebel and risk their lives while you are safe overseas.

These Combattants are cowards. Even during apartheid many people ran away to other countries, those people did not ovethrow the government. It is the people who stayed behind who were most effective in overthrowing apartheid be through sabotage, boycotts and bombings.

Even in Zimbabwe the people are realising if they want to change government they must do it from inside but the country. All sanctions are not working and it is the Zimbos who are suffering
