I read article and watched on tv news that apparently mama amazone has appointed bendo as the new leader of the group which made a lot of the viva members unhappy especially the loyal chef d'orchestre tocha who has been there for 20 years without moving unlike bendo
so its tense in the group while they were supposed to go somewhere this week to rehearse with a lot of peace to record group album

I recently heard from a friend who is a Bruxellois sapeur and long-time member of the city's Viva fan club; there are two big issues which have made most Viva members and the influential fans unhappy
There are plausible beliefs that Bendoson and Ponpon Mikaye calculated their returns to Kin after getting wind that Wemba's health was seriously declining. The time elapsed between their return and Wemba's passing was very short. Bendoson has been frequenting the Wemba residence over the past months to consul Mere Amazone.. to get on her good since she has a reputation for being temperamental.
The second problem is that the Cour de grands and life-long friends like Colonel Jagger were not consulted prior to this announcement. Despite their inactivity, Wemba held Stino,Reddy,Gloria,Djuna etc. with the highest esteem. On top of that, people haven't forgotten the disrespect Bendo once had towards Reddy

i can already see journalists fuelling the mess in viva by interviewing guys like archange,boavida and co and telling them to call bendoson president which will make it worse,because in congolese music either the leaders themselves of the group members tend to see the president thing as a reason to completely dominate or be dominated
if i was bendo,i would have a peaceful chat with the guys and explain them that president is just a word,and its just because he is already known for ages so people will take viva a bit seriously with somebody they can easily identify at its head,but it does not mean he'll start to bully them
