I think it was because it came out in the same year as the legendary albums Effrakata and Kibuisha Mpipma

 yeah i think like sebenemaniac said it faced the big hype of effrakata and operation dragon especially generiques,but rumba wise most of them became classics
clips were not done fast because jb and simon had a lot of disagreement,and one day when simon had sent guys from europe to shoot clips with jb in kin jb prefered attending funerals of kisindjora's mother and staying there for the whole day which pissed simon
