what does one call this style. It is unique I must say. It is not pure West African Afro Beat which are heavy on the beats because the classic rhythm and bass guitars of Congolese rumba are still very much prominent. It has the Afrobeat appeal and short length but still rooted in Congo. is this a new genre inside Congolese rumba, a way of dealing and accommodating the recent primacy of Afro beat over Congolese rumba? because a lot of the songs are getting shorter lately and heavy on the Afro beats from the beginning. it does not build like in the classic sebene tracks. Should Congolese rumba make these changes like it almost did catastrophically with Coupe Decale? Or should Congolese rumba just stay true to its sebene roots and history and let Afro Beat be Afro Beat maybe soon it will also pass like Coupe Decale but Congolese rumba will still here.
I like the track. The kid is massively talented.

Agreed, this for me is the best congolese Afro-beat featuring out of the recent releases.
Songs like this are still occasional in the genre, so just like Coupé décalé I don't see this taking over tradition rhumba. Thankfully we wont see albums filled with songs like these
If there is a 6th generation of Congolese music, i can easily see Innoss'B at the forefront. He's young, talented, and focused
