After all these years of people asking when Heritier will make album and Heritier eventually leaving and officially signing with Legendary Ivorian producer David Monsoh and after all the hype,album delays and a supposed sex tape Retirada was finally released. With all the hype I was expecting an album like Efrrakata,Le Millionaire or a debut album like Doit Chemin or Sens Interdit or even have the rhumbas like how Pegguy Tabu did it, but it was still a good album non the less. Heritier as always was good mixing French and Lingala and having good meaningful lyrics. And Heritier seems to like female choruses. Heritier shouted like usual but it was in a good nuance way this time.Heritier has a lot of good songs from this album to go play at Olympia.
Vol.1
Tout En Noir-The first song of the album wasn't interesting to me.
Adrenaline- Song dedicated to legendary soccer player Samuel Eto and his wife. The melody was good but Heritier should've done the whole song in French since that is the language the Eto's speak (unless it was directed to use some Lingala)
De De D-This song had a really good melody,beat and singing and lyrics. This was just good stuff from Heritier and the other singer in the song.
Abeti Faux-Never knew Heritier had a female singer until recently, unless Heritier was hiding her until the album she was not promoted on TV or the internet and I've never seen her at a concert. The song is one of the best in the album.
BM-Heritier sang better in this version then in the one released as a single.
Affection-Nice duet song with whoever that singer was. I like the Miyembe guy he sang like he was shouting but kept it calm at the same time. (reminds me of how Junior Kingombe sang in Pomme Verte)
Costa Nostra-Good coupe decalle generique. Plata's part was my favorite
Bondela Jires- Dedicated to soccer player Jires Kembo. This song started off with salsa and had the feel and chorus of an old Congolese song. And then the song went into folklore and Heritier the chief of La Team Wata Michka had a vocal with mostly Tshiluba and Lingala. Heritier sung in little Tshiluba as well.
Give Me-I like this afrobeat song, the way Heritier sang in English had me wondering if he actually knows English.
Roi Saloman-I remember hearing this song played on a show Djo K and I liked it and was waiting to hear it on the album. The chorus and everyone had good vocals with meaning.
Vol.2
Marlene De Reve- Dedicated to the wife of Soccer player Dieumeci Mbokani.Good chorus and nice vocal from Yannick.
Je suis Jeune Je Suis Wata-This generique was fire from start to finsh. The intro was really good, I like the combo of Yumbi and Kunzardo. The Kala Kala part should've been Kala Kala sika sika (old, Old, new, new) like it was in rehearsal. I didn't like the attack threw to people because soon Heritier will be a leader who has been in the game for a long time so he will not be new for long. Brandon's part was good, and then Plata came (Plata has really impressed me in this album) and then they went to a nice solo guitar part so smoothly but the end with Avatar kind of killed it.
J'aime mon mari-Diego Millito and Heritier sang good, I like the slow melody at the beginning. I actually have replayed the chrous a couple times.
Cala Boca-SKIP!
The rest of the rhumbas were good I don't like how one of Zonkion's vocal was cut short by the female singer and then he sang again.and the generique Carriere d'Honneur got better as I listened to it more. I taught Heritier would've had sebene songs but at least we got 3 sebene generiques and one good coupe decalle one.I wish they had the song Rachel Futa in the album, I don't think they needed to make a radio edit of D DE D. The singers did a good job of having good vocals putting their mabanga. This was a good overall album and it shows that Heritier will be good with rhuba and sebene and will be on the many young artists coming out of Congo to battle with the top younger guys Fally and Ferre.

The generiques are solid on this album. But you cannot expect a Effrakata these days. This album actually kept me interested. I think Deplick rumbas are bit better, but Heritier added some r&b like styles which is quite interesting.
