Before I analyze the generique later on I want to say whoever released this should have waited because of the tough times that will happen in Congo on the 19th. That's why Ferre didn't even release it on Thursday because of the political situation in Congo. I remember Tresor Nkongolo did an interview and said that Ferre that the situation in Congo will play a part on when Ferre will release music because he said his country comes first and that he doesn't want people listening to listen to QQJD and there is gunshots in the background.

I have a feeling werrason will release something soon as well. He's been releasing new stuff around this time of year lately. Hopefully nothing bad happens.
As for the generique, it's pretty good. Just wish it was longer. The first 30 seconds are just a waste.

I Just relisten to this generique 10x and I must say Ferre has found what works for him, similar to Seben, arrangement wise...a nice papa wemba tribute intro and the rest just pure seben throughout..the Blaise and Bercy duo worked here....I like the video concept and really easy dances....The soliste did alright but that accompaniment wow nice....."kupe etoboka"....Bercy had no input whatsoever when it came to cries as everything he animated on this generique was created by Kiriku but again he's voice just suits it best and sounds wonderful

Ya Mado is always making gestures to his privates. I like the intro and the hommages to Papa Wemba. I wish they put Mabumba Bass's parts a little bit louder and it would've been better if Bercy used his falsetto voice. I like animation Blaise was doing at the end, it's a funny and true story. They should've shown the zombie parts more ( I liked that concept). So the actual Boss dance is the same footwork dance they did in Boite Noire.

Listen closely he had two or three changes in the sebene. It just wasn't a big obvious change but it's there.

Impressive extention of the generique "seben" and again with Hadji Solo on lead. We Ferre fans need to come together and get Hadji a proper guitar and effects board,by the sound of it,Hadji is still using that same cheap green/grey guitar of his, he needs a BC Rich guitar, let's do i for him,am game and pledge $150, come on guys, we need more pledges.

I also agree with EMO on the arrangement of the 'changement de frequence' they can only sound better if the tempo is slightly different,as the generique is now,the tempo is constant.......makes the whole song like it '"started a long time" and those dancing are just catching up mid way down the sebene. Even though Bercy may have been doing Kirikou's as deliberately instructed to him ,he has animated in a good way. Looking forward to the actual album since this is just for xmas like with seben.

Off course Hadji is an excellent soloist, a product of Mboka Lia Burkina Faso but he needs a better quality guitar and needs to make use of an effects board to get distinct sound like other major soloists do.
At Wenge Maison Mere back in the days, Thierry Mogratana learnt the hard way, despite being massively talented,he played second fiddle to Flamme Kapaya who wowed listeners with distinct guitar sounds that made him stand out. Mogratana only caught up after moving to Europe,i see the same with Hadji as the lead soloist Hadji has a superior and original guitar and effects board he uses to get rich and different sounds.

I hear you , but i feel that if he does what you want , he's gonna sound like charly unless he continue to play fast solo. But i don't know maybe it could be better with the board like the wenge solist or charly use.
Also in this generique the guitar was outshine by the bass specialy in the second part , so i think it was by design...

What's up with those 666 fingers sign? Is Fere part of the dark side? If he is then its a big loss to satan cause the idea is to influence the world n drive them crazy with your works........... and this for me i don't even want to listen or watch it again it just doesn't have that thing.......... I feel like Fere will be the first to outshined by Heritier if he get atalaku as good as Bercy when he is at WMMM now he is just average i feel like Kirikou was going to do that part best.

An effects board has so many effects it can produce, Hadji does not have to pick the tone that Charly prefers. All major guitarists use effects boards but they don't sound the same. Hadji plays excellently but his work is faint since he simply plugs directly to his amp without going through an effects board, yes it may not be necessary to go through an effects board for his sound to be louder but the advantages are there if he uses effects.
