I might be a Werrasonik, the best Werrasonik ever but I think that no one will argue my definition. Because it is one of the best rumba ever in Congolese music maybe the best from Werra since Nicky D, I think Temoignage due to the absence of Bill was the 3rd or 2nd album in the list of the top of Igwe's album I don't understand why Heritier didn't participate on this song anyway Eboa and Lacoste killed it.

It might be the Werrsonik in you ;D Let's agree to disagree, because dozens of true rhumbas come to my mind first. This is more of a crossover Bolero/Zouk than traditional rhumba. Even 'world' session rhythmist Yves Ndjock was selected by Sec Bibens specifically for this song.
However, I would state that this is the one of the best crossover songs

No not even close, but I do like how Werra made this type of genre into some type of rhumba and why do you think Heritier had to be on this song.

It is a fusion of bolero and zouk as Matebu has said....I like the subtle shift from the usual Congolese Rhumba we are used to.

Agree, very good song, but, Werrason almost ruined it with his skills vocals in the beginning. Best, Rhumba?, I don't think so...it just doesn't have that original and timeless aura, and thats what Rhumba is all about.

Actually this is what the original rumbas from Cuba sound like so to be technical it is a pure Rumba, I spoke about Watanabe because in the most imoortant songs Werra always gave a vocal to Wata but I think he wanted to spot Lacoste and Eboa since they are the only two vocalist in the song
