Failing to be successful? you're wrong there,he's in the 6th gear now,he may be much more successful than even the likes of Felix Wazekwa. The guy is making money and touring all over Africa so very soon he's gonna match Fally's international status even without collaborating with many foreign stars like Fally does.
Those non lingala speakers,are they Zambians? if so then I can understand,Zambians want sebene but all the guys I know in Zambia listen to Ferre in their cars and request me to send them MP3's of Ferre's music so some people there appreciate his music.

ferré is well above wazekwa, wazekwa's status has dropped a lot since his justice problems, but like sly says both are top 6 be it in success or in terms of money( they might enter the group of millionaires soon)

What do you mean archos? so Ferre is not a millionaire as we speak? I dont know, have always had high regards on Wazekwa because i find his music to be very tight and mature near to koffi's even though he is not very popular here in Kenya as Ferre and fally. Dj sly talk of Zambian people likes of sebene then it's exactly opposite with kenya as here most people learning to like lingala music only listen to rhumba and not sebene and that is why ferre and Fally are more popular. There has been only a small debate on the direction Fally has taken with his music, many critic his love for American swag as they say he's going outside the game and that has made many men to love Ferre here as most women go for fally.
Talk of composion, then ferre is ill advised because the market in non lingala speaking nations like Kenya is very fragile that if at all they could know what ferre is singing then they could easily reject ferre music. I would love to get English translation of that song.

million dollar yes, koffi celebrated his first million in 2001,werrason in 200,jb in 2006 and fally last year;but i believe ferré will be up there soon
bill makes his money from sponsors he his with werrason and jb the artist with the biggest number of sponsors

He's not really talking about or promoting Satanism or anything wicked,it's a love song but in it he's telling a story of a girl crying for her estranged lover and she's saying '' I have looked for you everywhere, how do I reach you,we know the mark of the devil is 666, I know God's number Jeremiah chapter 33, he further goes on to say i've consulted elders at the temple,the arab astrologers etc and they can't seem to see you in their visions etc,they've advised me to do blah blah blah so that you return to me but you're nowhere to be seen,you've finished me,am dying slowly...........etc

I think archos made a typo error,he did not complete his sentence, Koffi hit it big time way before the others and he remains way ahead of others in terms of wealth. Werra's is actually combined with his wife who has been a successful businesswoman and pastor for years and it's only in recent years that Werra's assets have come to public knowledge and it's not very long ago since he joined Koffi and JB Mpiana in the posh area of Mont Fleury where the rich live in Congo.

I do not care about popularity, I have listened to music from wemba. ferre, fally even JB or werrason can not match up.......the other issue is not to understand, its the artist inability to to sing in harmony with diverse melodies or rythm and that is the sin of ferre...and his voice is good but he is static in diversity..

However you look at him,his plan is working bloody wonders for him,he's filthy rich now and has over 30 employees,a yard full of expensive cars,houses and lots of cash and women,what more can you ask for in life,he's living larger than most educated people in Africa so let him enjoy his life,his fans appreciate his type of music. Listen to Koffi's music, it's all the same rhythm but look at his fan base,huge,why? Because there are other people who appreciate what he does no matter how monotonous his music sounds.
