Title: Extra Musica atalaku Zaparo de Guerre says that CNN is his idol

talks how he started as a rapper, than as singer in streetbands as atalaku in an EP of Regis Touba (before he joined BCBG), then as atalaku/singer in Z1 International's Coup Dur, as an atalaku in a band managed by Bonaventure Engobo and finally how he came to Extra Musica Zangul where he met Etats Unie as only atalaku. He also said that single Libala-gout was a test, since that they were not really sure of him. Then if the journalist asked him who is the man who inspired him to be an atalaku, he said that it is ex'Quartier Latin atalaku CNN. (It's crazy to see how much influence Quartier Latin had in Congo Brazzavile & the rest of Africa, while in DRC they were far behind of BCBG, Maison Mere, Nouvelle Ecriture and in the begining even behind Zaiko). At the end he's talking about his ex'collegue De Brazza and Extra Musica's upcoming album 242.

I mean with the Influence and succes in Kinshasa. Quartier Latin had succes, but it was not so big like that of Maison Mere, BCBG or Nouvelle Ecriture. While abroad it was a different story. In the begining people saw Quartier Latin as a band of female dancers, since that a lot of bands didn't care about female dancers at time, at the same time people claimed that they were starting copying Wenge 4x4 and around 2002 people started to say that they were Maison Mere-copycats.
