I'm happy for them and as a Wenge fan, I'm genuinely excited about this project

You are right from Clan Wenge guys like Aimelia, JDT should be doing well than they are currently doing. Its like Papa SLY Na Kevin says that settling in europe for a long time for any congolese musician effectively ends one's career. Guys in Kin have more hunger to succed. Such a waste of talent.

Before you guys write him off, you should take into consideration his personality. If you ask anyone who knows Aimelia, they'll tell you he's always been shy despite his stellar vocal abilities.

He was never cut out for the spotlight and all that comes with it, which is why Wenge 4x4 BCBG administrators ranked Alain higher. 

A comparison one can make make is Carlyto Lassa, who some artists (like Koffi) regard as (or among) the greatest pure vocalist. Despite being beloved by the public, was very reserved (as he was very religious), and left secular music just after releasing his first solo album '95-'96. It was huge commercial success, being produced by the revered Syllart productions.
