If what he says is true,arafat was threatened with a gun by one of his rivals debordo in a bar and he says as much as a he is a guy of the street you do not joke when its about guns so he went to file a complaint

Ferre did say in a interview he is happy that Congolese polemic never had any gun violence like how artists in the U.S do. also Congolese artists do use spitual attacks which can kill like a gun.

Ivorian musicians who makes decale, (some of them not everybody) sometimes overreact Arafat and Debordo always make fights and step the red line, they should stop and follow the example of Magic System, from Ivory Coast/Côté d'Ivoire they became a global sensation being able to showcase their music to the French people

I was living in Abidjan for a period when Coupé Decale exploded in 2002-03, parallel to the ruthless Civil war when these guys were still teenagers. The violence between them was actually much worse then because there was ethnic violence between DJs from different regions and religions.
Regular shootings on Rue Princesse (the nightlife district) and young DJs being murdered. Arafat's first hit "Hommage à DJ Jonathan" was originally meant to be just a hommage to be played at his fallen friend's funeral, but it went international. People in their circles would kill guys over women, clothes, cars, you name it.
They adapted Congolese names and rapping in French/Lingala because ithey were neutral languages
Arafat seems to have matured past this level and worries for his life, the younger Debordo has not. How many times have they made up and fought again? Even Koffi tried to make them reconcile like school children on stage

One guy close to that lot of beynaud debordo arafat and co explains what's behind such beef,he says the reason why the guys are that mad against him is that to weaken them arafat slept with their girlfriends at various occasions and publicly mocked them in nightclubs freestyles about that which is why it was way above musical level
