I saw an interview of Roga Roga in Maroc or Ivory Coast, i don't know anymore. But the journalist asked him then why people were comparing Extra Musica alot to Wenge 4x4 and if they weren't inspired by them and copying them and so on. With Roga Roga denying it and saying that they weren't inspired by Wenge, but by Empire Bakuba & Zaiko. Which made me so angry and inspired to make this topic.

You can feel that the chorus of Kende is almost copy of Blaise Bula's Chouchou des Londres (Kende Kende nayo X, nazali mobali yakotula te...).

excatly the same rhythm of Mon Ami Coboss, some lines of Guy-Guy Fall in this song are like that of JB in Mon Ami Coboss with Christian Ambe imitating JB mabanga-lines of Mon Ami Coboss & Voyage.
Beside of songs they also kind like adopted BCBG, but changed it in BPBL (Bon Pied, Bon Look), they got JB's slogan "loba loba, sala sala rien" from the Feux de l'Amour-era, making it an animation in the Etat-Major and so on.
pfffff and then still denieying in interviews that they weren't inspired or/and copying Wenge. While they are alot pieces of evidence. Why do they just not admit that JB Mpiana, Werrason, Alain Makaba & Didier Masela were their idols ? All former Wenge 4x4-members brag that they were replicating Emeneya's Victoria Eleison of the '80s in their first years and Emeneya was their album (except JB, who's idol is Papa Wemba). So why is it embarrassed for Extra Musica-members to admit it? Or is it just the inferiority complex, what alot of people from Brazzaville have towards people from Kinshasa ? Or the bad-experience of people from Kinshasa always throwing towards them that they are copy-cats of Wenge 4x4 during their arrivals in Kinshasa and Europe? Or is it their famous "Ngomo Africa '96" victory above Wenge 4x4 in Kinsahsa, thinking that they couldn't admit otherwise "eko sopa bango" ?
