I have discovered this song late and I have to say that Koffi really does know how to make music, is a song with progression and short even though is strictly Congolese in terms of lasting, the so g lead to polemics with the Kimbanguiste since some songs like Suivez Le Guide and the same Bilan are a clear attack to the Kimbanguist religion, there is a line that I don't understand when Soleil Wanga (man he was waaaaaay skinny at the time) says two times the Simon Kimbangu's name what he meant? He meant it like an attack or like some praise?

Simon suffered greatly and fatally at the hands of colonialists after creating his own Christan movement. King Leopold II himself ordered that he be sentence to life in jail with something like 120 lashes, and he died after 30 years in solitary confinement. So he became a African Jesus in effect, with how peaceful he remained.
The Kimbanguiste church is the most powerful non-political body in DRC, even Mobutu did what he could to keep Simon's son Joesph happy, as there are millions of followers. And these followers donated lots of money religiously.
The movement remains as powerful as ever and people in DRC get goosebumps when they hear the name Simon Kimbangu because of his story

Actually most of the name of musicians came from the boss itself that sees the name as a characteristic and or a vision about him, for example Burkina Faso has nothing to do with the country but it was called Burkina Faso because he had a lot of guitar Façon so his first boss call him like that, in fact the first name of Kimbangu (guitarist) when he was with Bill he was called Luxembourg and so on, but I don't remember why Werra called him Kimbangu, maybe because at the day of his live audition he was wearing a White dress a long white male dress, like the one Kimbangu used to have alternated with a green one
