The solist is Burkina Faso "Mboka Liya" who was invited by Defao along with Djudju-chet Luvengoka. This album was recorded in Abidjan and the mix done in Paris by Djudju-chet.

Yea, I have yet to listen to a Defao album I didn't enjoy. A number the songs were remixes of his early hits.
The Ivorians loved him so much them they crowned him as honorary chief; hence his attire throughout the album. I forget which tribe exactly, but it's the tribe Didier Drogba is from. A few years ago Koffi was also honored despite his spotty behaviors in CIV.

Drogba is an Bete.
LL Cool J and Michael Jackson were also crowned as honorary chief. I remember traditional chiefs complaining why they didn't bury Michael Jackson in Ivory Coast.
