One of the seminal hits of the genre. Damien Dimonekene really put a lot of effort into recording; took more than a week to put the clip together.

Man Manda Chante really killed it with his vocal and in the chorus, surpassing JB in the highs.

In was a big fan of Damien Dimoneke and Didier Dingalt Ping in the '90s. They were my favorite video directors. But what made Damien Dimoneke stop with recording videoclips for Congolese artists ?


Manda's contributions of vocals in the Kalayi Boeing-album was minimal compared to Alain Mpela in that album and Pleins Feux ('92), where he did a good job in the chorus of Djino and had nice vocals on Nazareth & Tcha Tcho. Somebody said to me that Manda's mic was often off or at a low sound during concerts, because JB didn't want him seeing dominating the chorus. Many people taught or still thinks that Manda Chante is a Mumbala or Muyaka, due to that vocal in Kalayi Boeing.
