lol, I just finished lining my defenses for a few of our Fally fans who will call me a hater once again.
I liked his old slogan "Je suis pas encore le meilleur, mais le prochain sur la liste"/ "I'm not the best yet, but the next on the list". Wasn't as poignant.
"The Greatest" in anything means you've conquered all and achieved what no one else has.

My take on this about how fally hasn't achieved this and that compared to the big 4 of the previous generation I reckon the reason why not just fally but ferre and others haven't achieved like them is because simply the lack of europe concerts and lack of doners and so on which is really the issue so I find the comparison a bit parculiar

after watching today's shows i give fally 100 per cent reason lol in the sense that 90 per cent of the guys i saw on tv today acted also like they are the best so its a completely common thing, ferre calls himself imperator de la rumba in a country where the koffi simaro and co are still alive,when werra talks you can see he bleeds confidence over being the best,koffi actually SAYS he is the best,jb does that moto pamba talk then gets fired up and boasts aswell, bill clinton is the man who did everything in congolese music and so on and son

Fally is becoming or already is a great but he is not the greatest. He has yet to play Bataclan,Bercy, in Spain etc. or have a Effrakata or Kibuisa type of album. He has done stuff that artists of his generation or the next may never even do but he is still a long way from being "The Greatest".

I think you mean Eve rather than Usher (who's seen better days reputation-wise ;D). I saw a portion of the clip they made in Atlanta, but it seems the song was shelved.

If you are known in America it means to be like Wizkid the guy who did the feat with Drake or Sarkodie who went to the Cypher or the P-Square who signed for Akon's label, that is being known some nominations in the BET awards for best African male artist without winning any price is not being known, I have seen footage of his concert in USA people were at the phones not even interested to what the stage was offering, typical reaction of a crowd who really doesn't know the guy and waits to the next star coming in few words he was an opener and how can an opener be at the center of the attention of Michael Jackson? Fally has done great things for Congolese music but after Droit Chemin he didn't produce anything good in level of classic in terms of Rumba in his albums he does great generique and we can all agree but you must combinate it with legend rbas, even Heritier with his first album got way better Rumbas than Fally

Manzambi I'm not even gonna argue with you arsenal had classic rhumba's if fally isn't known in America then is anyone from his generation known over there too he's trying to cross over there to make congolese music more popular not just him but heritier too and ferre but fally goes the extra so just give the guy a bit of a break he does try and we can all agree he's not greatest to me I've gotta say it's koffi to be honest

Manzambi I'm not even gonna argue with you arsenal had classic rhumba's if fally isn't known in America then is anyone from his generation known over there too he's trying to cross over there to make congolese music more popular not just him but heritier too and ferre but fally goes the extra so just give the guy a bit of a break he does try and we can all agree he's not greatest to me I've gotta say it's koffi to be honest

He is way too much full of himself lately this is why he doesn't even try hard on his songs his fan will support him no matter how bad the quality of the music is and the other thing is that it seems like he is the only guy doing things all the people he has in his Orchestra are treated like employees who only do work but don't need recognition, that's why Alvarito and Gattuso left I would be pissed after years of serving Fally to see my songs not promoted and being punished even though I made a lot for your career
