Like the title says for some that don't know it's where a majority of the congolese music videos were uploaded in great HD quality I tried to go on just now and it said it was terminated due to multiple third copyright sad man :'(

Wow, that's sad. He was inactive for a long time beforehand; now I see why. He was the MVP of Congolese clips in the early days of YT

No he didn't. He usually pasted the biography of the artist or group in the description. I think that's where he messed up. You have to put a copyright disclaimer when posting content on YT that's not original

No, I think that it's because of the Papa Wemba videos he uploaded. I also had problems with the copyrights of Papa Wemba video's on my channel. Getting songs of the Mwalimu album deleted (Mu-Ker, Trop Bon Trop Cuillon & Paradoxe). You can't find a video from the A La Une-album on YouTube anymore, except the Kolo-Histoire generic. Selino Bwatshia had also the same problem getting all songs from the Le Voyageur & Emotion-album getting deleted.

Seka Moke Youtube channel used to be another good source of music videos (the whole African diaspora), but I think his is gone as well.

With Seka Moke it's a strange one cause that page gets shut down and comes back again it's been happening for years hopefully DJOMEGABP will be able to come back

He also messed up cause he put his own logo on the videos so in a way that is also seen as stealing

True I saw someone complain why he used to put his logo right at the middle of the screen. His time was near.

Indeed @Bencuri; I'm starting to download rare clips becuase next year the EU and US will put into effect more restrictive internet laws. Also, YouTube is become way too sensitive with intellectual property claims.

I heard Mère Amazone has been very money hungry since the death of Papa Wemba (RIP). Her & Papa Wemba Jr (her closest son) hired a French lawyer to make sure all royalties go to her, she recently sold his beloved house, and is selling his awards and memorabilia to donors. Viva la musica is dead because anything they do has to go through her. I wouldn't doubt for a second if it's her lawyer issuing copywrite claims.
And people wonder why she stood by his side when he was cheating left and right. When I think of how hysterical she was at the memorials and funeral... I wonder if they were actually larmes de crocodile.

Okay, everyone should archive favoutires. Next year if things go bad, we can discuss if we could make the saved things available to each other somehow.
One thing is sure, if you upload, you can create a nonlisted channel that you share here, those are less likely to be spotted by copyright watchdogs. Members will see the channel but it won't appear in the search in Youtube,

There's another page here fils lokombe that has congolese clips it's not as huge as DJOMEGABP was and there has been some clips taken down but it's the closest thing to it so If you wanna download clips there's your chance cause this page has been inactive for a year and I have a feeling it will be next

Hahaha that are just old video's and dvd's we buyed in the past in Chateaux Rouge (Paris), Matonge (Brussels) & Tottenham and decided to upload the last 7 years. People working for the Congolese TV-channel doesn't have anything in their archives even RTNC and are using are video's from YouTube. Also channels of Ivory Coast and Kenya and then you will see DJ Emilio's, Lokombe or Djomegadt logo.
