The difficult thing with France, he would’ve been held in custody until the case was heard. Would’ve been difficult for him to have a strong case being that he travels with a bunch of 20 year old dancers all the time.

No, in 2012 just after the release of Abracadabra he returned to Paris, which created alot of buzz. Because he returned to France after 3 years of absence. But then quickly returned to Kinshasa, after that he heard that he could be arrested. I remember also that combatants came to his home, since that they weren't happy that he sung for Kabila's election campagne of 2011

Koffi’s lawyer said years ago, that he should just come to France so the case can be terminated, but Koffi’s fear was being held in French custody, even for one minute. The was after the first time he tried to return
