Yea man, i was thinking the same thing. He invited himself to NBA All Star weekend and has been taking photos with every celeb he ran into like a groupie would. Not a good look for someone who is supposed to be an African superstar....
One of these day I think he’ll move to LA, he’s there like every month now for vacation

Good point @Matebu. It is only fair that guys be allowed to vent their frustrations with the artists they dislike and at the same time allow those who believe it is their life's calling to defend others. Pole Position is Ferre's staunch defender and never apologises for that, J.B Mpiana also has his religious defender who will paint all his laziness and failings in the most favourable light, I often defend Koffi, Werra and Ferre while Fally also has quite his share of bootlickers here and that is the beauty of variety. Criticise those you dislike, Defend those you idolize....its the benefit we enjoy of the doctrine of free speech!!!

We are a public forum with a huge love for Congolese music.
And if we criticize someone for how ridiculous is being, it doesn't mean that we hate him, I have translated the lyrics of Libre Parcours #1,3 and soon #2 will come and all the people in the forum especially on the number one went nuts because of how good the lyrics was and how good the composition was except for some low volume on the number 3, I am a Ferre and Werra fan by the way, but somehow I have translated more lyrics by Fally instead of Ferre, myself when Ferre got us that ridiculous English wanna be Nigerian song I kinda made fun of him writing: "is your boy Ferre Gola".
And how much time I have criticized Werra? How much times?
And you know who is the biggest fan in this forum of Werra? MYSELF.
I have listened to every single album of him, and my playlist is 60% of Werra and the other 20% is of Werra off shots (Robinio, Fabro, Ferre, Deplick, Heritier, even Prince) but if Werra does something bad I will not hesitate to criticize him.

Nope, because Neymar understand his greatness and he doesn't need to being approved by his fans for thinking he is making it big.
And then Fally too much times forget he is Congolese and should behave like a Congolese star and make concerts in Congo and stop acting like a spring break girl who had her holidays payed by mommy and daddy to visit the world.
Last one, we are not jealous man, I follow Fally on FB on Instagram the other 20% of my playlist are most of his songs, and I think that 99% of the forum contributes to the promotion and the sales of these guys, Matebu went even on his VIP concert, don't take criticism as hate, because criticism is what drives people to perfection, we all knew how Ferre was bashed for not promoting his works, and now you have seen how well he did with Jugement, Werra was heavily criticated for Bercy and then he came out with 7 Jours

Bro I'm not Congolese but just trying to be objective. Surely at 40 you don't need to be desperate for selfie like this guy does. The bigger image here is that he demonstrates that you and me as Africans we still struggle with esteem issues. He's a star just like this Dog guy.

guys i would just send you back to some of his clips in quartier latin or interviews ,regardless of what we think of what he is doing, it seems besides everything he had strong love for american long ago and considers what we are criticizing as living his dream
few months ago in ivory coast arafat got criticized also about how he loves to take pics with foreign artists and show up with them as to say i am not on your level anymore debordo and co,at the end of the day i think they consider those things aswell as a technic to hopefully create themselves a path into the "elite"

My impression is you’re either trolling us to evoke reactions to get a reaction or you’re passionate the way our fan club Ferre is. Fally is doing everything righteous in the world, so we must admire everything he’s doing...
Other social media site are clearly taking a tougher stance on this, especially the disses from Ferre fans.

To be honest we need to lay off Fally when it comes to taking pics with bigger stars....we should encourage this guy not that he needs it...the guy is a beast when it comes to promoting himself and trying to reach the next level of his career...unlike some artists from Congo, he’s not only comfortable with being one of the best in Congo but he tries to reach new audience and create a better network for himself...I used to laugh at him for taking selfies with other stars looking like a groupie but I get it now...my man is a hustler, just trying to build is brand....the rest should take note

I really loved his answer.
He said : " I don't want to because they don't respect us africans and our music and want us to be behind them. I have too much pride to do that".
Fally clearly did not take that from his former boss.

Ah yes, i remember this clearly - it was either on RFI or Afrique No. 1, if I remember correctly. Different philosophy I guess, though it’s so true most African musicians get no respect in the grand scheme of things.
He did joke he wanted to do a featuring with Jennifer Lopez for Effrakata and how the day Michael Jackson sings in Lingala would be the day he will make a song in English :D

Nothing wrong with taking pictures with and of celebs but me as a normal person wouldn't even wouldn't do some of the stuff a African star like Fally was doing on snap like zooming in on DJ Khaled and Bieber that to the females. I remember him laughing real hard with R.Kelly and it came off to me as groupie behavior.
