The album that was too good for Koffi’s & QL’s sake. Of the thousands of Congolese albums I’ve listened to over the years, I can comfortably say this the best sounding one, overall. When i play it on cd with home stereo it sounds like I’m sitting in the studio.

You know your lineup is stacked when you got Ramazani on mi-solo, Fofo, & Tyson and can alternate between Titina & Cambodge. Ridens Makosso on reserve

Didn't realize how stacked QL's guitar and drummer lineup was until you mentioned it. Did they even have a piano player if so then he must've not had a lot of parts.

Yeah. In 2000 Koffi Olomide left Ondoma Motema for Bercy. Which made Philphe Guez to do his role on Force de Frappe. Then Koffi Olomide recruited Christian na Nzenze who came like Ramazani from the splintergroup Nouvelle Ecriture de l'An 2000 of Bendoson. Koffi prefered Christian above Ondo and brought him to Zenith and the USA, where he stayed, which dissapointed Koffi. So in 2002 Koffi decided to not bring a keyboard-player. In he recuited the talented Theophile Bidiampasi "aka Theo Bidens" from Wenge BCBG, but he didn't stay because he went to join Alain Mpela's Generation A. Which made the talented Brice Malonga play on Monde Arabe, but he stayed in Europe. But despite that Koffi invited him to participe on his Europe-tour of 2005-06.

Thanks for the update, I've always wondered what happened to Ondoma. Koffi needs to start hanging on close to his band's travel visas, too many are quick to settle in Europe after touring.

Athough with the recent terrorism in Europe and Trump's administration giving rise to a more conservative view of global immigration, perhaps defections to Europe will becoming increasingly more difficult compared to the 90s and early 2000s
