To me thats one of WMM worst albums because of Mabanga, it felt like a get rich quick scheme of ya Ngiama.Tooooooo many names !!!!! It is refreshing indeed to have zero mabanga.

Yeah werra destroyed a la que leu leu with the mabanga overload and the fact that the sound was kinda shit too

 somehow i understand him demand was very very high and them artists have it hard to reject "even" 500 dollars there are some albums like that where there was crazy demand and they had to make up for forgetting people on previous albums

That song along with Yandi Mosi and Examen are my favorite songs off that album.  I'd be ecstatic if they re-release that album without the mabanga overdubs and a fresh remix and remaster.  Someone should relay the message since I'm sure he still owns the rights to those songs.

Could this be the start of one of the reasons why Baby, Ferre, Bill, JDT and others were upset and quit the band because of the dedications on that album and not getting paid?

Nope, you missed the point. When singers are singing their parts Koffi has always limited mabanga until transitions or sebene portion the same way Kester, JB, Wazekwa, etc. have done

Werra was reciting names from start to finish on A la que leu leu, didn’t matter what part. On 13ans alone he recited 110 donor names

Sometimes I laugh when I listen to Victime D'Amour from that group album! Werrason was just siting back and happily reciting all those names as he counts that cash that song was ruined with exessive mabangas ????????????

I still remember when Laureats 2000 came out by JB; it made headlines; This is a quote about it:

· Il faut aussi rendre hommage au chanteur JB Mpiana. Dans ce titre intitulé Lauréats 2000, il réussit à placer 200 dédicaces en 9 minutes et 13 secondes. C'est un record.

At least Callugi and Titina sung in it!!!
