Why prefered Congolese bandleaders to perform in the small concerthalls of Brussels (Madeleine & Marnignan) instead of performing in big musichalls which are Palais 12 (12.000 seats), Forest National (8.000), Cirque Royal (3.500), Academie des Beaux Arts (2.500) & Ancienne Belgique (2.500). Were they scared that they would not fill those musichalls ? Or was it that they focused to much on the musichalls of Paris. I remember only Wemba performing at Forest National back in 1999 and Werrason at Cirque Royal back in 2001, but were not packed halls then.
