I always heard those comparisons between groups of different generation but i never figured out whether it was praise or mockery lol when i was young i was hearing zaiko is the new los nickelos, wenge is the new victoria, then bcbg became the new zaiko,then fally's group became the new bcbg to many people
by the way one day before jb,ferre performed on the same format asked by organization of the festival,mainly songs of rochereau,some rumbas of those artists themselves then sebene on demand of audience
there was also groups of other countries who try do to congolese rumba(basically its international festival of rumba which just decided this edition to be rochereau tribute)

Good stuff by Nono Fudji and Quado. Judoka surprised me with how soft and sung I was really expecting a bigger voice then that. Atshuda sounded like an animator at one point, Seguin really looks like a dyke.

FPK it was a festival of rumba in which this year they decided to pay tribute to tabu ley,the day before it was ferre doing the same thing

Jb still have a thing for amida .. I still can feel it. All those Tabu ley song he interpreted had a message targeting her. It sad but the boy is still in love and i feel like they will end up together. Just watch.

.....No hate bwana and how do I wish someone death??? The fact is JB Mpiana has disappointed a lot outside my space, not just me. The only person who can testify his sins is the sinner himself. Just like the only person who can testify that JB Mpiana's music is dead is his former fan - emobcbgique. Ask Sly or PDG. I used to worship JB that I would clean his shoes, not anymore.....it took me about five years to swallow my bitter pill and call it a day for JB and I put a folk in his body. JB Mpiana has signed a very bad contract with his Kibense and co. There is no band in Congo other than BCBG that is very unproductive. Look here if Kabose Bulembi, Robhinio, Fabregas, Deplick and old man Bozi Boziana can be more productive than JB Mpiana, then JB is completely at the lower end of his career. If he closes his band today, no one will ever remember him, mark my words.

yes i get you bro,but no choice,it does not seem like there will be radical change,there are still some improvement here and there but he left himself with too big of a task which is surely why he goes the easy route of taking 99,999999999999 per cent of the focus and pressure on his shoulders and riding on his past career to resist
