While we’re on the song subject, I really like the first half Of Bolonia, but the song falls flat for me on the second half. Idk, the traditional theme doesn’t work for me. Feels like two songs combined into one

Yes its two songs mixed in one,both were chemin de fer songs  the folk part being basically in a song he did for his daughter soraya

You are absolutely spot on and I was thinking about the same when I played it on Friday. The second half is a massive cock up.
