Also remember these tracks came at the age where streaming was starting to take off. That's a huge factor today with music. I'm not sure how much congolese made from shooting video clips and selling the VHS or DVD?

For selfie I can relate........... here in Kenya its a hit till now, especially with our slay queens who just discovered Koffi the other day and are now behaving like they know his entire career.......ask them about V12, Magie, Attentat, Loi etc, they'll fight you if you tell them that those are among Koffi's greatest albums.
