In short, some of these leaders are actually "PIMPS" disguised as musicians. I know that money is never enough but don't these leaders already make enough moneys from concerts, mabanga, album sales and their own private businesses etc. Mawa trop.

Damn that's straight pimpin. I knew Papa Wemba used to do that with some of the Fioti's Fioti's in 2000. Did every leader do that. Those leaders man sometimes when I learn about their actions I ask myself if they are humans ?

The next time you watch a concert, pay attention to the donors that go up on stage - often times they'll whisper to the leader while handing them money that they're really liking X dancer that night and they should her (or multiple) his way after the concert.
I saw Grevi Futila Liyebo doing that to Werra in one of his Angola concerts. Prior he was staring at the dancers quite unnaturally standing on the side of the stage

I heard that Koffi was getting alot of money from politicians,soccer-players & influent journalists of Francophone countries (Ivory Coast, Cameroun, Gabon, Burkina Faso, etc.) in the 90's by giving them his girldancers whom everybody was dreaming about after seeing them dancing in those old VHS.

Maybe that's true, who knows until we get an interview from one of them. I remember thinking particularly back in the Ultimatum-Loi era and wondering who was "tapping that". I'd be delusional to think that dancers just dance and go home
I think the worst offender (they're all culpable though) was Wemba with the Fioti-Fioti's. Here you have a 50 year old man parading 14, 15, 16 year old girls on Europe and African tours. Imagine someone trying that in this Me-too era

yes it was quite common,even with colleagues, when wazekwa visited koffi at concert koffi turned to him and said into his ears pick the dancer you want and wazekwa said no thanks, jb used to do it with adolphe also in their early reconciliation days around maisha park and many more
i will reveal sometimes back in early 2000's when i was too much into desire of being a manager to artists, i was involved in negotiations for wazekwa to go to ivory coast benin and togo and the producers told him clearly,one of the conditions for us to give ha nice check and all advantages at hotel ivoire,sarakawa or palm beach hotel in togo,sun city hotel in benin and so on you let me and my donors do what we want, and wazekwa asked why and the guy responded with a very serious face did not your colleagues tell you, ask them all of them agree with us like that,you think you'll just come and be treated like a prince with us not getting proper return?come on
and while his admins were willing to negotiate a bit, he stormed out and said if its like that i prefer to perform in kin forever and went several years without performing abroad
i will try to find it there is an interview where he said in all honesty although most are my friends dont be impressed with them touring a lot in africa in many many cases they are first and foremost bringing their dancers to producers and donors and then doing their job but who among them artists would like somebody to do it with their daughters

I wouldn't let a close female relative or friend be a dancer for a group unless it's someone like Felix Wazekwa. These leader are pimps, especially Koffi and all his history with female dancers. I'm sure Koffi wouldn't want Didi Stone being treated like that so don't do it with someone else's daughter.
