Title: Question: Was Jamais Sans Nous recorded in Brussels or Brazzaville?

It was recorded in Brazzaville at Studio IAD. They were well received by Jean Jacques Bayonne, boss of the nightclub 5 sur 5. The mixing was done in Bruxelles. Where is Jean Jacques now ? The last time I heard about him was when he was the director for Fespam. I don't understand why they didn't wrote Studio IAD in the credits. What happened with Studio IAD ? I heard that it was looted in the mid-90's. Congolese artists of Kinshasa liked to record their albums there since that there weren't professional studio's in Kinshasa.

The last album that was recorded in I.A.D was the G7 Impressions in 1999. What happened to 5/5 Select club?

I never went to Brazzaville, so I don't know. I think that Jean Jacques sold it. I wonder how the relations are between Koffi and him, because I don't hear Koffi shout his names in album like he used to do in V12, Ultimatum, Wake Up, etc.

Who knows but I always enjoyed the quality of the I.A.D. sounds even the electronic drums which came in 1988 they used until 1995.

Studio IAD. It used to be the top recording studio not just in Congo-Brazza, but of the two Congos. What happened to it?

Yeah, he was the sound engineer in IAD since 1994 along with Martin Bakala.

Whenever you hear those electronic tom-toms, you know for sure that it's an IAD recording ;D.

Me too, Koffi has used a lot this drum on Pas de faux pas
