I don't care about Koffi being involved at this point.

A QL tour without Koffi, but with all the members, would be a huge event.

Ndeko, that concept has been done many times in Europe (all those Chez Maître Djonga concerts). They don’t pull big crowds; they need Koffi to be the face and to book a major venue

@Matebu

In my opinion, all that's required is couple wealthy patrons to provide back-end participation payment for the more established members (Fally, Koffi, & Beniko). Koffi shouldn't have a problem booking a good venue.

Djonga is a very small venue. It's always full anyway.

The last concert Academia did in a bigger venue last summer was full.

Of course, they won't be able to draw as many people as Koffi; of course, it would have been better and bigger with Koffi, but who cares at this point. We might as well never have it, so let's take what is available. I know a lot of people will take what they can: if Koffi want to be on board, fine; if he doesn't want to, too bad. The music will be good in both cases.

Nope. With good backers and good promotion, QL members, without Koffi, can pull a successful tour. I'm not saying they will fill stadiums but they will do well.

There are a lot of people who are nostalgic of QL music and who will attend their concert. Koffi fans won't, but QL fans will.

I listen to Koffi's music every day, but if Koffi with his current line up is playing on one side of town and QL members, including Beniko, are playing on the other side of town, I'll go with QL without Koffi.
