Title: ANYBODY ELSE NOTICED HOW OFTEN FALLY AND SOLEIL HAD VOCALS AFTER EACH OTHER?

These last two days i have been listening a lot to the post academia koffi and quartier latin albums and i noticed easily 90 per cent of the times fally and soleil vocals were straight after each other,i wonder whether it was just like that or did koffi do it on purpose knowing they had strong beef for most of their common time in quartier latin

What were they beefing about ? It seems like in every band there is always popular members who had beef. By example Reddy vs Stino, Ferre vs Baby Ndombe,Héritier.

Most of the time the beefs were instigated by group leaders and staff to control the group. Being that a lot of these artist were paid poorly, if they all had solidarity then they would have likely left Koffi long before Danger de Mort.

Similar to how Les Marquis was started.

Yeah Cambodge even mentioned that in his interview, Soleil was not on Fally's level in terms of the overall package that was Bouro.

Bro, that generation of QL (Fally and co)  had the best living conditions of any band  by far since Wenge 4x4 TT. If any of them try to bring up salaries- I reference in this video where they were all gifted Benzes in 2000 after spending months in Europe touring. Mind you most were in their early 20's at the time coming from small and street bands. Even the dancers had some nice villas. Koffi didn't want what happened to gen1 QL to happen again during that period

In the years of 2005-7, many of them had their contracts expire and Koffi wasn't going to invest in them because they became too senior and also how Fally and Ferre left

yes soleil is slightly older 1974/1975
