Maybe, I think that Bouya Mayola paid him money to sing about his life. Back in the 60 & 70's donors were giving artists money to sing about their life, but from the 80's it started to become rare. With most artists only singing love songs, praise songs or songs advicing about life for their donors. Songs like JB Mpiana - Consolation (2001) and Wenge EL Paris - j'ai vu, j'ai vaincu (2001) are true stories.

I also forgot the song of Defao dedicated to Claude Makelele. Who then used often to fight and argue with his ex'girlfriend.
