Post by: Longbluesquid on March 14, 2019, 15:05: Oh man I absolutely agree. It shocks me when people think of African music they've only know like afro pop and few others. But they have forgotten a whole genre of Congo. Which is some of the most complex and deep dance music ever.

Western World has Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton, but I highly doubt that they can replicate Roga's licks or Flamme's. Africa rules the art of playing guitar than most of the world

Post by: Mirobexx on March 15, 2019, 10:24: I live in a small Welsh town .My neighbour had me playing JB Mpiana Dock pullman Dvd one day.He came in and sat watching .The sebene part where the girls were dancing and Mboka Liya was killing it on guitar and the dancers were in harmony.Now he even listens to Congolese music .He said the way you guys play its like you got degrees in music.I said no these are just people who never went to music school but understand the guitar.

This particular song made me start listening to and love "Lingala" (as we call the genre here in Kenya).

Roga Missile is a beast!!!
