For me it would always be between Wenge Maison Mere and Quartier Latin...my generation

Yeah I agree If I have to pick it would be Quartier Latin from 1997 to 2006 if not then Maison Mere from 97 to 2004 maybe 05 even. But I'd wanna get paid so Quartier Latin for me loool

Totally agree lol...Maison Mere from 97 to 2004 always, everything after that nahh. Same with Latino, everything after Danger de Mort wasn’t Latino no more.

You shoulda took out Wenge and QL to make it more even. Thats like asking people what spanish club would you sign to then listing 10 clubs including Barca and Real Madrid lol everybody is going to logically vote for those.

If I was talking about the bands of my generation, as Mr JV put it, I would join Quartier Latin (mid to late 90s-early 00s) and Maison Mere (D.T.D.B, that is). I wouldn't want to drum for WMM though ;D, I'd play second fiddle to Kakol. I'd also choose late 90s Wenge Kumbela (Aime Buanga's band) as well.

If we were talking about bands that peaked before I was born, I'd join Victoria, El Paris or pre-split Zaiko.

Was it hard to join Wenge Musica 4x4 back between 1991-1995 ? They were the most popular band of Zaïre, but how is it possible that only Burkina Faso, Ali Mbonda, Aimelia and Tutu Calugi joined ?

My guess Burkina Faso was known for playing in Choc Stars and Defao's Amour Scolaire. He said himself while he was working in Bobongo JB engaged him to join Wenge.
