 no, he basically started having desire to become a professional artist after years of giving songs to papa wemba and other artists and then wazekwa who wanted to help his vieux karmapa invited him to studio sessions of signature and then one day he said you know what "you should sing in one of my songs so that people get a first taste of your voice,and i will make you sing in duet with jocelyn(joss diena) so that people notice your voice and ask who you are
he should have sang  in yo nani  aswell but he missed studio sessions due to sickness
