I remember in a recent Freddy Marchouse interview it was mentioned that Awulu was suspended. Will there even be more space for Awulu to play in Formidable if it's not done or close to being done.

I am hearing a couple of versions,one that he went to play in studio for mundibu without authorization on several generiques over years which ferre's guys discovered now with one of the sound engineers snitching (and with the blatant disrespect robinio has been showing towards ferre for years now),other version is that he had an affair with a dancer which leads to a bit of trouble in the group with jealousy and things like that,and also he has been close to kakol for ages so they were already suspected him to prepare his return given he was also stripped of a chef role with ruth nzele taking his place which pissed him off being one of the guys from day 1

@Archos are musicians allowed to play for another group other than there's? I ask because Awulu Mbonda says (in that interveiw with Nadege Ibwakungu) almost everyone does these part time playing for other groups but in his case the problem only started when Robinho started saying unpleasnat stuff about Ferre.

Normally they are not allowed especially with rivals,what is kinda allowed is session work with gospel artists secretly(since gospel artists refuse to admit they have invited kakol,seguin or whoever else on their albums because they are seen as devil worshippers)

mbonda players and ngongi players are the least well paid along with the unknown dancers,they rely on singers or atalakus to hand them some money here and there and donors aswell,if you pay attention in some concerts you might singers who get money on stage and who go to mbonda and put 100 dollars in the pocket of the mbonda player
if you are a proven mbonda player like for example passe kosse,ali mbonda,zoulou mbonda, showman or awulu for example,you might get some donor opportunities
but for example the mbonda player of deplick or taddet only God can help him find something to eat,or the odd occasion of president giving each musician 50 or 100 dollars
