they did not put instrumentists otherwise kapaya and kakol surely would have been among
-
This video proves that despite what we think, instrumentalists in major Congolese bands are really underrated. With a few exceptions.
-
Come on! The list is based on his personal point of view. I personally don’t agree...he lost me when I saw Deplick but no Fabrigas and Ferre in 2nd place
-
i guess he put heritier on 1st spot just because he is the only singer who has been with all generations of the group(except the recent one obviously) and has made great impact in any of them
exactly in the long run fabro had a bigger impact than deplick
-
Ferre’s impact is bigger because in every one of those generation of MM still today is the only artist who’s imitated the most...that’s impact. He left a blueprint that can’t never be wiped out in that short time he spent, while people like Heritier, Eboa, Miel and Caferum spent at least 10 or more years but I still didn’t feel them much.
-
What a bulls**t of a list... Ferre should be number one period. Deplick should not be on there
-
Loool at the Ferre disrespect who made this garbage ass list?
-
YEAH the number 1 is not even debatable, until today have braids,a bit of cheeks, sing with mellow voice you have high chance to walk into first team from the day of test lol there are three guys nsone misses a lot ferre bill and kapaya so anybody with something kinda sorta like them is in a great position to join and become important

I did wanna put Mabiala on there (he’s seriously an underrated musician) but at the same time as much as we hate Kakol he is a good drummer so he should be on the list and so should mabiala so maybe they should be a tie lol

Despite his behaviour Adjani should be floating somewhere there

1. Ferre - barring Babia Ndonga, hands down, the best voice of his generation. (I'm not really sure Babia & Ferre are of the same musical generation though)
2. Bill - There's a reason why his is the most imitated style to date.
3. Kapaya - He revolutionized the solo guitar. And always played with a smile on his face
4. Kakol - The man people love to hate. His drumming is up there with the best
5. Lacoste - In his element, he had some of the most memorable vocals in Maison Mere. And he did more than just singing. Also his charisma, charm & creativity on stage
6. Adjani - His husky almost melancholic voice has never been duplicated & nobody even dares to try. Not even his brother could
7. Zina the dancer
8. Eboa - He came up with something crazy & unique
9. Fabregas - Same as Eboa he came up with something different & his captivating. His continued success beyond Maison Mere also says a lot about his ability
10. Brigade - He lifted the whole place when things were starting to sound rather gloomy. He brought back the famous Maison Mere energy even though it didn't last long
-
ferre is two years younger than babia and two years and slightly more younger aswell in terms of career
