I’ve been listening to Academia A LOTTTT recently the first three albums. That group was fire imagine if those bad things didn’t happen.

Clovis Ngouma's stringy bassline throughout Attentat reminds me of jazz bassist Jaco Pastorius. I wish he kept making music!

I can really feel Lofombo's influence when I hear Clovis Nguma's playing. He'd have to be taught by him to play this good.

Lofombo is a legend, but maybe Motingia Tunga and especially Gauthier Mukoka often get ignored...quite an injustice.
