In short he says that he knew that wenge musica could split because he was friend with werra's cousin ladins montana and he knew that should he join a wenge it would be with werra his village brother and4X4 ended up splitting
and when recruitment started he went for tests and only found there ferre,serge mabiala who was werra's private writer already and celeo and jdt and manda chante should have joined together but manda asked for money and car which werra could not give him and shegues brought adjani to tests,and the likes of bill kakol and co arrived later
he said there was plenty of musicians tested at werra's house and in la zamba who did not have patience to fight for a place or were not picked( for example genta was cut before la zamba rehearsal because of a similar profile to bill then,or cnn was tested by not given a chance in rehearsals) and was asked about fally and he said he saw fally at maison mere rehearsals 3 times and he does not know why fally did not remain in the group
and says he is the one who came with the name maison mere,while it was called wenge musica bcbg 4X4 still,because he felt there was a difference with the other wenge since there was two of the real original founders in the same side and added that werra still was hesitating a lot and hoping for return of the true wenge 4X4(he does not say it here but in the past he used to say a lot that he caught werra multiple times apologising to jb and wanting to make peace)
and werra was telling them "this is your group guys" and it created a special bond which made every of them give their absolute best because it was like a father and his kids who were giving their best to make their father proud,not like a leader who is a tyrant
He says werra did not care about being called president,which is why adolphe was the first president and also since adolphe was wenge's vice-president he was allowed to be president but then people around werra advised him to reclaim that statuts because adolphe is starting to take it seriously and his gaining fame with it,so he called him baby and ferre and ordered them to call him president from now on so that other musicians follow
celeo arrived before bill but werra did not really like him so bill got a lot of privilege but since celeo was a hard worker even if bill would get 3 times as much space as celeo,almost every single of celeo's animations would be hits

wasenga kimpuni( werra's former friend and assistant) called him and ferre and he pulled a trick to bring peace back in the group he went to see werra to say the musicians are sorry and apologized and they still love him and so on then told musicians to go to werra and apologize because he talked with werra(which he did not do yet) and werra promised that he'd pay them once in europe and baby laughs with the memory of him ferre hugging each other while crying for 5 minutes almost and they took their flight and as usual werra would leave first class and come to them and talk to them and once in europe werra organized a reunion and paid them
and the guys in the group who thought that he was snitching them to werra to be the favorite were surprised to see that he was the first to stand up against that trip and understood they were wrong,and werra himself asked to him how come you always come to me to defend your colleagues while other come to snitch about you and others to protect themselves and he says thats his nature of being like a syndicalist
and he gives another example where he stood for celeo who werra wanted to suspend and remove from bercy concert because he was dating a dancer and bring instead doudou kibinda and he used all his influence as the second main member of the group behind ferre to block doudou so that werra still takes celeo who had been there for day one and worked hard to become considered so it was unfair that he gets punished for dating dancers while kakol always got away with that
and when they recorded kibuisa he feared that werra would remove some of his vocals to punish him over the zimbabwe incident but he was happy to see that it remained on album
about his bitter departure in maison mere,he thinks maybe had flashbacks of the zimbabwe incident all of a sudden(obviously now that he has made peace with werra,he omits the part of admins snitching fake stuff to werra because they wear about to lose advantages in favour of ferre and baby ) and that he was disappointed that his loyal soldier "betrayed" him and him also felt that werra "betrayed " him by believing rumours and punishing him so hard and that werra needed a strong symbol to scare musicians who were increasingly upset
he talks also about how they started to prepare les marquis already in the group and it all started with him and jdt then they took their pire petit bill clinton and heritier into it, the group was kinda split in two some who were behind him some who were behind ferre,until ferre ended up joining their idea and he says they contacted almost everybody but certainly not kakol because they knew he was the champion of snitching to werra,sometimes celeo was with them sometimes not
he believes what really boosted them to leave was a concert in a gabon where extra musica and other groups also went and were in nice hotels while they were in hotels with no television no air conditioning so even though they were not sure werra knew they were in those hotels since it could have been that admins ate money allocated for better hotel the level of frustration had grown too much in the group
and he was suspended for UK tour and the guys wanted to leave there because of that but he convinced them to come back before the second UK tour aand they went to angola hoping werra would lift his suspension so that they leave with him in 2nd tour which did not happen and he says he had trouble to travel later on because surely somebody else travelled with his passport so he was rejected visas for france several times which lead to him going to USA instead
about les marquis he says in kinshasa he went to see primus to fund them but it seemed like the guys in europe were already not on same state of mind,each of them would say different things to him when they called each other,then when about to sign a contract with primus the guy who did the deal for them requested that they send their legal authorization for paperwork and it took ages to come from them and the deal collapsed just because he was the first name on the list of 4 co-founders of the group which did not please ferre jdt and bill who thought he'd feel like he is the president so he went and gave money back to the guy
they wanted to come themselves to get money and he suggested them that he comes to europe with each of them's money but they had already disagreed with the fact his name was the first on paper since he is the one who negotiated the deal
two months later they sent legal things to him to get a visa for france and plane ticket and had his picture on posters but he refused to go because he saw that it was already becoming a mess and he asks ado if he has ever seen a musician who stayed in africa for a good while reject europe like he did because he did not want to participate in the mess growing in les marquis

I see that its very difficult for you to forgive people lol. The thing that Baby said was as reaction to Ado's question (because Mimiche claimed in his interview with Ado that Baby slapped Werrason and grabbed him by the collar started yelling at him in South Africa).
Baby Ndombe's love for Werrason is to big even when he used to diss him every interview (more because he was pushed by journalist who kept asking him questions about Werrason or as reaction to ADT Yanki Mpuy and MM-fanatics who were insulting his father). He had a special relationship with Werrason during his time in WMM, if you will met him in private, he will talk about it. He knows also alot of secrets which many bandmembers don't know, because Werrason used to trust him alot because they were from the same province. Hence why some (Ferre) were gossping about him to Werra to kill that relationship (he wanted to get his old relation with Werra back).
Don't forget that Congolese musicians of the era 80's/90s and early 2000s were spending more time with their bands then their owb family. Rehearsing from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening, having just 2 hours to rest, doing it everyday from Monday until Thursday. Having then to perform on Friday, Saturday and sometimes even Sunday. Alot of bands in Kinshasa were then giving 3 concerts in one day. Hence why alot artists replace the leader and collegues above the place of their parents, because they spent more time with them. Also alot came from poor families and didn't had something to eat, clothes or something like that before joining big bands.

So he had to expose all his bad experiences in Wenge Maison Mere ? He just reacted to Ado's questions. He could have added it if he wanted, but he just wants to avoid unnecessary polemic. I guess you are used to hear Baby exposing Werrason in every interview. Btw he just said the same things what he always used to say in almost every interview but in different way because he didn't had a Gloria Olangi or a random internet-journalist in front of him. Also its for the first that time he revealed the story of Libreville (Gabon).

yeah also the first time the primus deal,only the story of bill's future skol deal with zacle involved in negotiations was known,too much ego with musicians lol just before he was the first name

Imagine Baby Ndombe, JDT, Bill, Ferre and other forming Les Marquis in Kinshasa instead of Europe. I think that the impact would have been bigger and more difficult to let them split in no-time.

yeah but they would have had a tough time,there was an operation "bamba bango mabanga" and things like that on their heads(ferre tasted a bit of it when he returned to kin,they tried with bill but this was the super crazy bill it ended with broken bottles on people's head and things like that"
