Is he the same guy who played drums in Yo Nani and Signature (I know that a big part was by played by Djudjuchet).

djudjuchet played signature only along with flory telecel who ran away and slightly yo nani,its cultura's drummers dickens mungobongobo and doudou tcheke alain delon who were both in the group until olympia

lol yoka kombo. I never heard of those guys. Was Flory Telecel not the guy who used to drum for gospel-singer Mbuta Kamoka later ? They did a good job on Et Apres, it was like they mixed the style of Kakol along with that of Djudjuchet and Titina. Why didn't they promote them much like the guitarists Hono Kapanga, Bijoux de Paulga and Pitshou Concorde ? All drummers of that era (Nouvelle Ecriture, Quartier Latin, Wenge Maison Mere, Wenge BCBG, Academia) were known except those of Cultura.
What about the guy who played bass in this album? Looks like Gessac mentioned Clovis Silawuka in the generique.

Going by previous credits, I believe the bassist was Koumbe Bass.

Just played Sautez Deja. I heard Gessac shout out Doudou Tcheke. Did Doudou play on Yo Nani as well?

i know now how you believed djoudjouchet played the whole albums,because of doudou tcheke
they were media shy so they never went to interviews while wazekwa tried to force them(today he jokes that if doudoutcheke went on tv a lot he'd be the first poached by koffi because he was a bit like the younger champion physically)
the bass player was florida"komekome bass",silawuka mema nga which gessac said was actually like he was just trying to do like bill and saying "funny" sentences or comments like that,in another generique he said silawuka tolia misapi na supu ya dongodongo or something like that

I also never heard of Florida. Is he still in Cultura ? The rhythm player in Et Apres was Guylain Essamba right ?
I have the feeling that all credits of sebenes went to Hono Kapanga while Bijoux Depaulga had also done alot, he also played all the generiques (Cinq Etoile, Dose Unique and Sautez Deja) until his departure. I think that many don't even know his name.

no he left cultura not so long after zenith was meant to go to latino but then chado miantezolo returned so he ended up with no group since wazekwa refused to take him back

Ahn Pascal Mavita, I also never heard abouthim. So he was behind that typical Cultura-rhythm sound that we heard since Sponsor/Signature ?
Did Wazekwa never released an VHS or DVD where he presented and promoted all the bandmembers (guitarists, dancers, singers,..) properly like Koffi Olomide used to do often with Quartier Latin ?

that rhythm is a creation of wazekwa himself and hono kapanga they shaped that rythm together it has a name i am forgetting right now

Since Wazekwa has the reputation of being an honest guy. How much he pays his singers and his musiciams (Guitarits, Bassist, Drummers and Mbonda players)

depends on the months,when he is fully in kinshasa it goes from 150 with new dancers to 750 with eclipse then to motivate musicians there is loyalty and discipline bonus,it's in most of the cases bank deposit or when he knows he'll be off to europe for months he'll put it in envelopes you come to his house and sign
recently he had allowed administration to deal with paying instead of his young brother germain and they did like in other groups which leads to departures and him firing and sueing to court 4 guys who stole that money
so he's decided to take the responsability back but he might change the formula to a payment after each concert
his payment aside,he has signed three deals with some of the doctors you hear him mention in songs,so that musicians get any treatment for free for themselves be it scanners,surgery or minor things(it started with nono shaka but like i said in the past family does not want to let him take him to europe as in kin its not working)
i dont know if its done already but last time i was in kin with him he was discussing about the possibility of "offering" his deal with one supermarket which is among his personal sponsors to the musicians so that they get a certain level of food suply each month
he has reduced thanks to departures and discipline his group to 40 members so he believes it could be doable to satisfy everybody

The amount of money the leaders have to part with is extraordinary considering the number of staff and band members they support. I think you need other sources of income apart from music to be able to do that.

yes,its impossible to survive in congolese music without other investments,other business or sponsors who bring extra money,which is why many talented guys go nowhere in solo career because they do not have the good context around

Many Congolese people don't understand that. I hate it when careers of some artists flop and those people then saying that they were nothing and that their boss was doing everything, not knowing that the musicians are contributing alot behind the scenes and that they don't have alot of support when they start their solo-career compared to their former boss who has contacts with policitians, tribal-chiefs, contracts with beer and phone-companies, etc.

No, it's Doudou Tcheke Dimolo, who also played on Mosapi Liboso, Faux mutu moko boye, Yo nani, Sponsor (i think that Djudju helping him in Kinshasa like on Viagra with Robert Mylhene aka Tshe Tshe de Balle), Que demande le peuple, etc. But i don't know that he was still there...
