Because those clips are nothing compared to Sanction and very boring. It was a good idea from Jhymmy Mukelenge to re-record some clips in Kinshasa who were far better than the Europe-version.

Sectuer A was not actively involved with promoting Viagra like they did Saction. Their logo is easily spotted in Sanction's clips with the excellent attention to choreography, editing, and filming location. From beginning to end, each clip feels different and captures the mood of the song with almost every musician present in the playbacks. You can tell that professionals are working hard behind the scenes, it's not just money the band is receiving to make the videos but a professional crew to help with production.

Just take a look at other videos the label has produced for their talent, it's well made regardless of budget and with their label logo off to the side as a subtle badge of pride.

By contractal obligation, Secteur A gave the money to record the album Viagra and the clips, but maybe they weren't hands on with the creative process anymore with the clips. I remember you mentioned that Academia wasn't respecting the agreements of their business arrangement with the label so maybe it was the beginning of the end of the relationship.

Although Lebou must have been a pretty agreeable guy, cause the label gave him a record deal for QL Integral after the fallout with Academia lol

Post by: mvulusi96 on September 10, 2019, 12:14: Lebou Kabuya didn't work with Secteur A. He went to work with Premiere Classe of French-Congolese rapper Ben-J from the Neg'Marrons who then just started his recordlabel.
