In this interview he said that the met each other in 1993 in Angola. Also in 1979 when he let Koffi Olomide record Elengi Ya Mbonda for free after still having some free hours left in the studio, after paying money for the studio to record his own song.

I don't know if you have personal problem with me by reacting on a comment of 2019. You can just say it clearly.
I didn't said that Elengi ya Mbonda was Djonolo's song. I said that Djonolo met Koffi in studio back in 1979, when he was recording his song. Because of still some hours being left with the money Djonolo paid for his own recording-session, he let Koffi record Elengi ya Mbonda instead of letting Koffi paying his own time
