Tshala Muana was very famous in the world back in those days, touring in Europe, Africa, Northen America, posing for magazine, being in documentaries, appearing on big tv channels. Its only because that she sings in Tshiluba, that Congolese people doesn’t understand how big her dimension is,  seeing her only as someone who represents the Luba-culture. The only thing missing in her career was signing to a big major recordcompany like EMI or  Sony and performing at mythic concerthalls, the way Abeti Masikini was doing.

I'm guessing the year of the magazine is somewhere in 1987-1988 or 89.
