Just a bit of fun ;D... Which Artist had a year to remember in your opinion? let’s be fair and honest and put kiFanakwiti aside. I will post different categories throughout since the pool doesn’t allow multiple questions.

For me it's But Na Filet, I've been wanting to make a thread about him. He's come out of nowhere and it seems he's had a lot of success in Kin at least, played in Luanda and has a high number of views on YouTube already for a newer "unknown" artist.

Where's Vieux Nsone on the list? :D :D :D On a serious note, basing my argument purely on the album Formidable, he at least deserves a mention. He's been positively active, showed intention to reach out to former "foes" Wazekwa, JB, Baby Ndombe. He's rebuilt Maison Mere once again after a series of key departures & he was written off as finished.
But Na Fillet would get my Male Breakout artist of the year 2019. He's showed a lot of promise. He's grabbed a lot of attention. And he's choosing a less traveled path where you don't have to do polemique with your former boss to be relevant.

I thought he released Formidable in 2019 & for the first time someone actually released an album on schedule

Formidable came out late November and to be quite honest it hasn’t lived up to the hype even though I believe that’s one of his best work.
