he says he started music in mombele in a group called emfila musica with chai ngenge,zulema,adjani,zoe bella and he does not look like it but he is a 45 years old guy
then later on he joined the group of his late father dindo yogo and at some point he was invited to europe by his dad and got deported months after then kisindjora brought him to quartier latin as his dad in europe was stuck in hospital and could not send money in kinshasa anymore so it became hard to cope with the group
and he was asked if he was afraid to go into witchcraft to become the leader of the group since his dad was not anymore there in kin and he says he never did witchcraft and so did his father who always failed in solo career but shone behind or next to big stars ,its like him when he went to quartier latin there was already hype granted so why would he have needed witchcraft
and he did his test succesfully,and quickly despite being a new member he became one of the chefs as he could play all instruments and sing a whole chorus by himself and he reveals some of the bass binda played were their common work
he also talked about the way they meet michael jackson at kora and says he heard after that was a lookalike and they were so excited then they meet the real michael jackson years later at lincoln center
he talked about that famous party on a plane on the way back to france and says him binda bass and bouro smoke weed on the plane and binda almost got them in trouble as plane's system started to detect something strange and indeed some had sex with dancers but he was not among them
he left quartier latin for reasons he does not want to say but in short because he was left in kinshasa when they went to record monde arabe but he has good memories of koffi in terms of receiving a salary regularly
years later he joined zaiko and went to europe then came back and recruited a lot of musicians and brought in his instruments, then went again and came back with jossart and he says in zaiko there is no salary you depend on concerts and donors and during their long stay in USA they were not paid at first but then in last months they were paid 200 dollars each per month
he was asked if he had ever seen koffi again since he left and he says just once in 2014 on a plane back to kinshasa from kasai province and that koffi sat in first class with cindy and ya jossart was behind or in front and since he likes to joke a lot of he said to koffi "hey vieux longtime yo give me some money you are a big boss" and koffi made his absolute best so that nioka longo hears him saying " you are asking for money? you are with nioka longo and have success with vimba,nioka does not pay you?" while ya jossart completely ignored koffi and cindy looked at koffi and said to koffi you have money in your shirt pocket give it to him and koffi was still trying to get a reaction from jossart and cindy took the 300 dollars he had in his pocket and gave it to him and he said thanks sister
he says he did not leave zaiko but he admits he did not warn ya jossart that he was coming back to USA and that he has been told ya jossart is so pissed that he does not want to see him ever again in the group and he says he will go back to kin and try to see it with ya jossart who is like a dad to him if it does not work out then he will be back in USA to look after his kid theo he named after his late dad,and will perform with groups of USA and try to build some "fame" to it like some of the guys performing in paris and he is working on a solo album where he has fally's agreement for a feat
he says his best friend in music is bouro mpela bouro was not there when he joined but when he returned from academia they clicked straight away and until today they are very close

Pretty much sounds to me he’s defected. Not smart. There’s no work here for Congolese musicians and with this being Trump country he’d be lucky to get those papers.
